In the modern lifestyle and the usually frantic pace of everyday life, gentle yoga offers a "gentle" and soft form of exercise suitable for older ages and for younger ones, who need a conscious and calm engagement with the body. Having a more therapeutic nature, this class suggests ways to awaken and strengthen the body with awareness and acceptance of our different needs, such as injuries, chronic illnesses, stress and even the simplest need for rest. The goal is to untangle any "weaknesses" we perceive as problems- obstacles, and approach them with love, awareness and curiosity. We accept them and work with them , treating them as problems-griefs, now, to find new ways to practice, body and mind. We learn to listen to our body , to ally with it, and - why not ;- to get to know it all over again.
It is aimed at all ages, regardless of previous experience.
