YOGALATES
at the Park of Nea Smyrni
Yogalates classes blend elements of Yoga and Pilates. From Yoga, they incorporate structure (breathing - focus - movement - relaxation), the gentleness and respect for our limits and needs at any given moment, the quality of "creating space in the body," and the essential final pose of savasana. From Pilates, they borrow the emphasis on activation and strengthening, often staying longer in positions with repetitions to target specific muscle groups.
Variations are provided for both beginners and advanced practitioners, with significant emphasis placed on the breath.
